2026 Olympicism Experience Camp — Recruitment of Student Athletes (Aged 12–16)
The China Hong Kong Olympic Academy, under the Sports Federation and Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China (SF&OC), will be organizing an experience camp for secondary school students, dedicated to deepening the youth's understanding of Olympicism. This camp will feature a rich series of activities, including adventure-based training, sports experiences, field visits, and seminars, covering areas such as patriotism and athlete experience sharing. To further promote exchange and connectivity within the Greater Bay Area, the camp will be held in Nansha, Guangzhou. Secondary school students from Guangdong and Macao have also been invited to participate, with the aim of fostering mutual understanding and sharing the joy of sports together.
Our Association is currently recruiting one student representative to attend this event. The eligibility criteria are as follows:
1) Secondary school students aged between 12 and 16.
2) Members of the China Hong Kong Representative Team will be given priority.
3) Must have participated in local tournaments hosted by the BAHKC, or have represented the Association in overseas competitions.
4) Possess outstanding sports performance and achievements.
5) Demonstrate strong leadership qualities.
6) Possess basic communication skills in Putonghua.
Event Dates: July 29 to July 31, 2026 (3 Days & 2 Nights, Wednesday to Friday)
Event Fee: Free of charge (Note: The participant confirmed to receive the slot will be required to pay a deposit of HKD 1,000 via a crossed cheque. The cheque will be returned upon successful completion of the event, and the deposit will be refunded within two months after the camp.)
Selection and Interview Arrangements:
Given that the SF&OC restricts each national sports association to nominating only one representative, an interview session will be arranged on June 1, 2026 (Monday) if there is more than one applicant, in order to select the most suitable candidate.
The Secretariat will send a separate email to applicants to notify them of the exact interview time.
