Registered Account Terms and Conditions

By becoming a registered account holder on the Online Registration System under the website of The Baseball Association of Hong Kong, China Limited (“HKBA”) located at the domain name (“Website”) and completing the online registration process or using various services offered by the BAHKC ("Service"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not register and do not use our Service.

1. Your Account on the Website ("Account")
Account registration on the Website is open to individuals of any age and is accepted at our sole discretion. A user of the Website who is also a minor ("registered account") should inform us that he/she has obtained his/her parent or guardian's consent for the account registered on the Website. Minors may only use the Service under the supervision of his/her parent or guardian. You may hold only one registered account at all time. An email address is allowed to register only one account. Hence, please use a different email address for each different individual. You are responsible for ensuring that all information you provide to us is complete, accurate and not misleading in any material aspect, and for informing us of any changes in the information previously provided by you. You may access and update your account settings and information via your registered account profile.

You must not submit any information about any third parties without their prior consent (or in the case of minors, without their parent or guardian’s prior consent). By submitting information about any third parties, you agree to procure and guarantee that only such third parties will comply with these Terms and Conditions at all times.

By placing an order or applying for a programme and/or course with HKBA on the Website, you agree that HKBA shall not be liable for any consequences that may result from incorrect, incomplete or false information you have entered or from data you have changed subsequently to your order or application.

2. Password and Security
You are responsible for ensuring the security of the personal information held on your computer, mobile or other devices. You agree to keep your registered account details safe and confidential, not to share them with others. If you become aware or have reason to believe that there is any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security, you must change your password and notify us immediately. HKBA reserves the right to terminate your account or place your account on hold in order to protect you and/or HKBA from identity theft or other fraudulent activity.

3. Purpose for the Collection and the Use of Personal Data
By registering and creating a registered account, you may access our Service, such as course enrollment, annual membership renewal, online shopping, ticket, donation, event helper registration or subscription for free-of-charge activities. Nevertheless, you must only access and use our Service in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, view the availability of our Service for your personal and non-commercial purpose and conduct lawful and authorized transactions with us and for no other purpose.

You must not access or use (or allow access to or use of) our Service in any unauthorized manner. This includes but is not limited to any false, fraudulent or unauthorized account or registration, obtaining or any attempt to obtain unauthorized access to any of our networks or accounts or to information about other users; and any interference with or disruption to our Service.

Without prejudice to our other rights at law or otherwise, we reserve the rights to terminate your user registration and account without notice to you and to deny you to access our Service if we believe that you are in breach any of these Terms and Conditions.
