Upcoming International Events in Hong Kong for Men, Women and Youth
The Baseball Association of Hong Kong, China (BAHKC) is pleased to announce our upcoming schedule of international baseball events for Men, Women, and Youth:
12th HKIBO and Phoenix Cup 2027
BAHKC will apply to the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) for sanction to recognize the 12th HKIBO and Phoenix Cup 2027 as international events. The WBSC will review the events and ensure that proper protocol is followed in accordance with WBSC instructions. Official WBSC sanction will be granted to the event organizers and will have implications for the Baseball World Rankings. Only games involving national teams of WBSC Member National Federations will carry ranking implications.
Hospitality for National Teams
(limited to two teams, each from a different country/region)
BAHKC will provide accommodation, meals and local ground transportation to up to two national teams from different countries/regions for the 12th HKIBO and Phoenix Cup 2027. Subject to BAHKC’s confirmation.
Phoenix Cup 2027 – International Individual Player Arrangement
2nd HKYBC
The 2nd HKYBC aims to bring together youth baseball teams from across the Greater Bay Area and all parts of the world to compete in an elite atmosphere. Further details are set out in Appendix III.
We warmly welcome teams from all over the world to join this international event in Hong Kong, and beyond the competition, to explore the city's unique attractions and culinary culture.

Phoenix Cup 2027 – International Individual Player Arrangement
- International Individual Players may enrol in the Phoenix Cup 2027 tournament package on an individual basis. BAHKC will assign each player to a club team.
- Definition of International Individual Player: An “International Individual Player” is a player who is not a resident of Hong Kong, China at the time of enrolment.
