Recruiting a Sports Therapist for Team Hong Kong, China to the 15th National Games

The Baseball Association of Hong Kong, China (BAHKC) is looking for a Sports Therapist to provide professional care to the Hong Kong, China Men’s Team (the Team) during the participation in the 15th National Games to be held on 12-20 November 2025.

Servicing period: 12-20 November 2025 (both inclusive)
Servicing location: Zhongshan, China
Group size: 24 players

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • To design, implement and monitor strength, conditioning and injury prevention programs for the players;
  • To assist in the rehabilitation program;
  • To maintain thorough medical records on all injuries and rehabilitation procedures;
  • To liaise with the coaching staff and respective directors on the scope of work.

Qualification and Requirements:
  • Holding university degree in sports medicine, strength and conditioning or a relevant discipline;
  • A minimum of 1-year working experience preferably in relevant practical fields;
  • Experience in working with baseball teams is preferred;
  • Holding valid travel document

Terms and Conditions for the Appointment:
  • The appointed Sports Therapist provides the service as a self-employed person;
  • The appointed Sports Therapist is legally responsible for his/her negligence in causing property damage or personal injury to third parties;
  • He/she has to complete and submit a tax return in accordance with the Inland Revenue Ordinance and fulfil the Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) Schemes Ordinance to enroll himself/herself as a self-employed person.

Offers
  • Pay rates: HK$1,300/day x 9 days
