The Baseball Association of Hong Kong, China (BAHKC) is inviting any potential service providers to offer On-field Physiotherapy Support to the Women’s Team Hong Kong, China / participating teams’ athletes in the 2023 III BFA Women's Baseball Asian Cup to be held from 21 May to 1 Jun 2023.

Servicing period: 9 game days, 21-23 May, 26-28 May and 30 May – 1 Jun 2023 (9 a.m. to 9 p.m.)
Servicing location: Sai Tso Wan Recreation Ground, No. 90 Sin Fat Road, Lam Tin, Kowloon
No. of athletes: 20 Team Hong Kong, China players / 160 athletes on every game day


Duties and Responsibilities:
  • To provide pre-game prevention, immediate treatment during the games and post-game conditioning;
  • To advise rehabilitation program, if required;
  • Maintain thorough medical records on all injuries and rehabilitation procedures;
  • Liaise with the respective director(s) on the scope of work.

Qualification and Requirements:
  • Any individual personnel or organization who works in sports medicine, strength and conditioning or a relevant discipline;
  • Experience in working with baseball teams is preferred;

Terms and Conditions for the Appointment:
  • The appointed personnel or organization provides the service as a self-employed person;
  • The appointed personnel or organization is legally responsible for his/her negligence in causing property damage or personal injury to third parties;
  • He/she has to complete and submit a tax return in accordance with the Inland Revenue Ordinance and fulfil the Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) Schemes Ordinance to enroll himself/herself as a self-employed person.

Offers
  • Servicing allowance: HK$1,300 per day x 9 days
  • BAHKC provides two sets of formal dresses
