Recruitment of Assistant Technical Executive
(One-year Renewable Contract)

The Hong Kong Baseball Association, the baseball National Sports Association of Hong Kong, is recruiting Technical Executive/Assistant Technical Executive to cope with its expansion.

Duty：
1. Report to Executive Committee and direct supervisors;
2. Managing any assigned responsibilities of the Association, including but not limited to develop promotional programmes with schools and performing coach job
3. Preparing annual activity plan and regular reports, liaising with relevant government departments and local and overseas organizations;
4. Attending regular meetings;
5. Performing ad-hoc administrative duties.

Requirements:
1. Holder of a university degree; or post-secondary Certificate/ Diploma in sports-related fields, or its equivalent;
2. Holder of a recognized coaching qualification equivalent to Hong Kong Coach Accreditation Programme Level 1 Certificate;
3. A minimum of 2 years coaching experience in baseball;
4. A positive and high-energy individual with a wide range of skills, including a love of the game, good promotional skills, strong instructional skills and the ability to work well with, parents, kids and club officers.
5. Excellent organizational and communication skills and the ability to create a fun and effective learning environment are a requirement.
6. Be able to speak fluent Cantonese, good command of English would be a strong asset, ability to communicate in Mandarin is desirable;
7. Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook;

Remarks:
1. The appointee shall be required to work on irregular hours if required, i.e., he or she may be required to work on public holidays, work outdoors and abroad.
2. In support of the Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC) Scheme launched by the Hong Kong Police Force, prospective appointee will be requested to undergo the SCRC at the advanced stage of the employment process.
