Resignation of Director
The Board of Directors (the “Board”) of The Hong Kong Baseball Association Limited (the “Association”) announces the resignation of Mr. Masanori Miyoshi (“Mr. Miyoshi”) as Director of the Association, effective from 18 Aug 2018. He joined the Association as director in 2010, was appointed as Deputy Secretary-General and Vice-chairman in October 2010 and in October 2012 respectively. Mr. Miyoshi resigned as Director of the Association in pursuit of his career development and has confirmed that he has no disagreement with the Board and that he is not aware of any matter in relation to his resignation that needs to be brought to the attention of the members of the Association.
In the meantime, the Board is in the process to identify a suitable candidate to fill the vacancy left by Mr. Miyoshi in the coming 2018-2020 Board of Directors Election that to be held on 26 October 2018. In the period of transition, please feel free contact HKBA Secretariat for any further information.
The Board expresses its appreciation of Mr. Miyoshi’s valuable contribution to the Board and the Association over the years.
