Sports Executive (SE) (Project Basis)

Hong Kong Baseball Association is a recognized National Sports Association under Leisure and Cultural Services Department’s subvention. This role will be responsible for liaising with funding bodies, potential sponsors, and international baseball federations, to facilitate the delivery and execution of planned Major Local International Events (MLIEs) and explore new opportunities to work with any organizations, to offer baseball development opportunities

Duty:
1.Report to Executive Committee;
2.Manage the assigned responsibilities of the Association, organize Major Local International Events (MLIEs), local major events and develop new projects to raise public’s interest in baseball activities;
3.Prepare and submit MLIEs budget plan and be responsible for providing regular reports;
4.Liaise with the LCSD and other organizations both locally and overseas on the MLIEs and other matters relating to Baseball Sports;
5.Attend Board of Directors and Executive Committee Meetings.

Requirements:
1.A Diploma from a registered post-secondary college issued after the date of its registration/an accredited Associate Degree from a Hong Kong tertiary institution/a Higher Diploma from a polytechnic university or polytechnic in Hong Kong or Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education or equivalent;
2.Preference will be given to the candidates with working experience in NSAs or NGOs;
3.Management experience will be an at advantage;
4.Be able to speak fluent Cantonese, good command of English would be a strong asset, Mandarin-speaking desirable;
5.Knowledge of computer skills is essential;
6.Immediate availability is highly preferred.

Remarks:
1.This post is subvented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department.
2.This post is on projects basis, to be reviewed annually.
3.The appointed person shall be required to work on irregular hours if required, i.e., he or she may be required to work on public holidays and work outdoors.
