The 2021 Provisional Registers of Electors and Omissions Lists for Geographical Constituencies and Functional Constituencies were published on 26 September 2021. The Registration and Electoral Office (REO) appeals to members of the public to check their own latest registration particulars and whether they are listed on the omissions lists. Members of the public may also call the REO hotline on 2891 1001 during office hours to check the abovementioned information. For enquiries, they should inform the REO on or before October 9.

Given the latest situation of COVID-19 and announcement from the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD), in addition to Squad Training Programmes, all other baseball activities will resume starting from 9 April 2021.  Refer to the guidelines from the LCSD, all participants should observe and comply with the Prevention and Control of Disease (Requirements and Directions) (Business and Premises) Regulation (Cap. 599F), the Prevention and Control of Disease (Prohibition on Group Gathering) Regulation (Cap. 599G) and the Prevention and Control of Disease (Wearing of Mask) Regulation (Cap. 599I) as well as the latest Guidelines on Prevention of COVID-19 issued by the Centre for Health Protection and step up the hygienic and anti-epidemic measures for the subvented programmes to prevent infection. HKSAR Government announced on February 10, the majority of the civil servants who are currently working from home will return to the office starting from February 22. HKBA will follow the same arrangement.

Hong Kong Youth baseball League will start in October 2021. The target is to actively organize and promote local baseball competitions for teenagers, it helps improve technical skills and also promote team spirit and sportsmanship. And to nurture the next generation of Hong Kong elite baseball players and training squad, and allow them to gain more experience in international tournament.

Registration date and time in below:
Team Registration: 3 August to 13 August
Player Registration: 3 August to 20 August

The 2021-22 Hong Kong Baseball Open League (Open League) tentatively planned to start in August (1/8/2021). The 2021-22 Open League will be changed to five divisions: Men B division, Men C1 division, Men C2 division, Women division and Mixed division. The number of teams is limited to 8 teams for Men C2 division and 10 teams for the rest divisions* (more than 8 or 10 teams will be decided by ballot.), each team could play at least 4-5 games. For more details, please refer to the Team Registration Information Sheet and Annex A. Reminded that each match must have at least one HKBA registered coach attend (level 1 or above).

(*2020-21 Registered Team have the priority registration for the 2021-22 Hong Kong Baseball Open League Men B, Men C1, Women and Mixed Division. )

Team Registration: 9 July 2021 (Friday) – 19 July 2021 (Monday)
(After payment, teams need to submit a list of players* with a minimum of 12 players to the HKBA by email on the same day. After confirmation and receiving a reply of confirming the result of the registration, the registration will be considered successful.[Unable to submit 12 players roster within 1 day will not be considered and team registration fee will be refunded. ])
