In the light of the COVID-19 epidemic situation and to safeguard public health, the Organizing Committee has decided to cancel the Hong Kong International Baseball Open (9th HKIBO) & Phoenix Cup 2021, originally scheduled for March 2021.

In view of the latest situation of COVID-19, The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) announced that some leisure and cultural venues/facilities will be temporarily closed starting from today (December 2). Therefore, some baseball activities will be suspended until further notice. For enquiries, please feel free to contact the related secretariat staff.

2020 - 2021 Baseball5™/ Baseball SIX Training Scheme (Elementary Course) will be conducted in November 2020 to January 2021.

The enrollment period for the Participants as the following:

Children: 19 Oct 2020 10:00 am

Youth & Adult: 19 Oct 2020 10:00 am

Due to COVID-19 and venue arrangment, 2020 - 2021 Baseball5™/ Baseball SIX Training Scheme (Intermediate Course) will be cancelled.

Co-organized by the Hong Kong Baseball Association (HKBA) and the Hong Kong Softball Association (HKSA) to select the best players to participate in the Baseball5 Asia Cup in January to February 2021. Top three team in the Asia Cup will qualify to the 1st WBSC Baseball5 World Cup in Mexico this year. Read more


Hong Kong Youth baseball League will start in November. The target is to actively organize and promote local baseball competitions for teenagers, it helps improve technical skills and also promote team spirit and sportsmanship. And to nurture the next generation of Hong Kong elite baseball players and training squad, and allow them to gain more experience in international tournament.

Registration date and time in below:
Team Registration: 7 October to 11 October
Player Registration: 12 October to 18 October*
*team should register at least 12 players to make sure there are enough player.

Team manager meeting will held on 30 October at Olympic House, please refer to the leaflet for more information.


As the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) announced on September 18, in response to the latest situation of coronavirus in view of the latest situation of COVID-19, some leisure venues and museums will be reopened in phases from September 18 (Friday).

Among the leisure venues, fee charging facilities for team games including soccer pitches, baseball courts, rugby pitches, cricket grounds, hockey grounds, indoor facilities such as basketball courts, volleyball courts, netball courts and handball courts are reopened on September 18.

2020/2021 District Promotion Baseball Training Scheme (Phase 2) will be resumed on 7 Oct 2020.
