Recruitment of Assistant Sports Executive (助理體育幹事)

The Hong Kong Baseball Association Limited, a National Sports Association in Hong Kong, is recruiting an Assistant Sports Executive (ASE) to cope with its development.

Job Duties
1. Report to Executive Committee and direct supervisors
2. Organize and execute the programmes approved by the Executive Committee of the Association
3. Arrange local/overseas training; prepare regular reports, maintain proper filing, liaise with relevant government departments and organizations for the relevant matters
4. Provide secretarial support to the office-bearers and executives of the Association
5. Attend regular meetings
6. Perform ad-hoc administrative duties

Requirements
1. An accredited Associate Degree from a Hong Kong tertiary institution/a Higher Diploma from a polytechnic university or polytechnic in Hong Kong or Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education or equivalent; and
2. Met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or Grade E above in Chinese Language and English Language in HKDSEE or HKCEE, or equivalent; and 
Remark: Grade C in English Language (Syllabus A) is recognized as equivalent to Grade E in English Language (Syllabus B)
3. Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese; ability to communicate in Mandarin is desirable;
4. Preference will be given to the candidate with working experience in the sports sector or NGOs;
5. Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook;
6. To work proactively with any interest groups and government departments helping out with
various tasks as required;

Remarks
1. This post is partially or fully subvented (at Administrative Assistant Rank) by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department.
2. The appointed person shall be required to work on irregular hours if required, i.e., he or she may be required to work on public holidays and work outdoors or outside Hong Kong.
