Enhancement Programme for Team-only Sports - Elite Training Grant
It is encouraging to announce that there are eight team-only sports will be provided additional funding under the Enhancement Programme for Team-only Sports to enhance the elite training programme to achieve the best result in the international games.
BASEBALL is one of the team-only sports to receive the additional funding to provide enhancement training programme to Hong Kong Team to prepare for the Asian Games 2018 and the Hong Kong Baseball Association (HKBA) is allowed to select a maximum of 28 elite athletes to join the Enhancement Programme, the best 24 players will be selected to participate in the Asian Games 2018 that to be held on 18 August to 2 September 2018. The 28 selected Hong Kong team players will receive a monthly allowance HK$4,000 between January 2018 and September 2018, if the players meet the requirements and responsibilities:
