A group of women baseball players planned to join Women's World Series III (WWS III) which was held in Japan. Unfortunately, Japanese Government refuses to organize WWS III due to ˇ§SARSˇ¨. Location of competition changed to Gold Coast, Australia. Hong Kong Women compelled to give up due to the problem of fund raising.
